PR & Marketing Director Russia

Location: Moscow, Russia

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Marketing strategy development for Russia region:
  • PR campaigns (strong focus of Marketing strategy)
  • Sales promotion activities
  • Sales support actions
  • Liaising and building relationships with a range of local stakeholders (local press, local suppliers and colleagues);
  • Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess global and local demand, brand positioning and awareness;
  • Developing advertising opportunities, which can involve placing adverts in national, regional and specialist publications or on the radio (depending on the focus of the campaign);
  • Writing and distributing local press releases;
  • Managing the production of local marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers - this can involve translating English content (perhaps already supplied from global or may need to retain a local translator for the job) and proofreading copy, and liaising with local designers and printers;
  • Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials to local market;
  • Maintaining and updating local customer mailing database;
  • Organizing and attending local sales events/exhibitions;
  • Securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects;
  • Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
  • Evaluating ROI on marketing campaigns;
  • Monitoring competitor activity;
  • Contributing to the development of marketing plans and strategies;
  • Assisting in the delivery/execution of approved strategies;
  • Managing local marketing budget.

Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of  marketing and marketing communications experience at the position of Marketing Director/Seniour Marketing Manager/PR director/PR manager;
  • Ownership expertize for the role and department/self motivation and leadership
  • Out-of-the-box thinking
  • Ability to write articles (or work with PR agencies on it)and  deliver corporate communications to the external parties;
  • Can work easily to deadlines and under pressure;
  • Ability to travel within regions(MSK/SPB);
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Ability to maintain a positive communication style with a wide range of employees within The Linx Group;
  • Strong examples of PR campaigns realization with previous places
